Thanks to the fun, lovely author Sabrina Garie, I’ve been nominated for a 2012 Blog of the Year award…
The “Blog of the Year” award is a little different from some other awards, because you accumulate stars.
Here are the ‘rules’ for this award:
1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award
2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.
3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/ and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)
4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them.
5 You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience.
6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…

My time, over the course of the past year, has slowly whittled down to minimal for the random surfing that used to lead me to new sites and useful information. Now I rely on my writer friends for their perspective and help as I navigate the … interesting … waters of promoting my books, and the much greater fun of exploring new fictional realms. For anyone who’s looking for an intelligent, interesting, engaged set of people who are fun, friendly, and worth reading, here’s my non-comprehensive list:
- Dionne Lister
- Kelly Stone Gamble
- Brandy Walker
- Erica Lucke Dean
- Kriss Morton
- Cathy Dreyer
- Justin Bog
- Rebecca Fyfe
- Maureen Hovermale
- Milly Taiden
- Ellie Heller
- Mary Terrani
- Sabrina Garie
- Jennifer James
- Fiona Druce
- Sarah Cass
That wraps up my looking back (thanks, guys, for everything!). Here’s to moving forward with great new worlds in 2013–and enjoying the road we’re walking as we create them.
Happy New Year!
🙂
Thanks Tonya. Glad to share and glad you’re having fun with it. Have a fabulous 2013.
OMG I am overwhelmed Tonya. Truly. But I can’t resist adding that I wish I’d had time to buy a dress and write a speech. Off the top of my head, in pyjamas, I’d like to say thank you. I was a bit sceptical about social media a couple of years ago. You are one of the people who has consistently shown me that that scepticism has no basis. Thank you. Cathy x
Cathy – if you knew how frequently I posted in pjs… You’d know we were kindred spirits. 😀 I’m so glad we’ve gotten the chance to know each other, too–even if it is only in this format… for now. (So the next time someone knocks on your door in pjs… don’t automatically call the Funny Farm…) 😀
Happy New Year Tonya. You’re welcome here whatever you’re wearing Tonya. A bikini would be brave, considering the weather but the welcome will be warm. *Cheesy grin* Cathy xxx
